The Grand Opening of ARTworks is Thursday, November 20th
ARTworks is the new home of the Arts Council of Beaufort County (ACBC), in Beaufort Town Center. Please join ACBC's diligent board members, hardworking staff, skillful resident artists, and all the lively kids from the after-school program for the grand opening on Thursday, November 20th, from 5:30 to 7pm.

That evening, attendees can tour 12,000 square feet of community arts, see the creativity of the resident artists and the beauty of their working studios, and understand what ACBC offers the community, while enjoying food, drink, fun, and special entertainment. Beaufort Town Center is at 2127 Boundary Street, 29902.

The new ARTworks facility is a significant opportunity for the arts community to strengthen its economic and cultural impact in Beaufort County and beyond, for both residents and visitors. ARTworks is located in the busy and conveniently-located Beaufort Town Center, which means that shoppers can also peruse ARTworks' gallery space, the working studios of eight resident artists, Coastal Art Supply, and a multitude of creative classes.

ARTworks supports the creative economy with:
- A reception area containing information about artists and arts organizations, county-wide.
- Affordable gallery and studios spaces for artists to share their creative process and products. Space to create is a critical need for artist-entrepreneurs state-wide, and ACBC is glad to facilitate.
- Coastal Art Supply, one of Beaufort County's few art supply sources; the proprietor is a knowledgeable art instructor at the Technical College of the Lowcountry.
- The offices of the Arts Council of Beaufort County provide information about quarterly grant opportunities, Get Your Art Out emerging artist workshops, and more.
- Creative Classes at ARTworks, which allow artists to share their skills, and for emerging artists to experiment with materials and tools.
- The after-school program, where quality arts educators share their artform in a family-friendly environment.
- An inter-generational theater seats approximately one hundred people, with a roomy movement studio adjacent.
