It’s a new time and a new place but the Friends of the Beaufort County Library kicks off its 22nd annual Books Sandwiched In program on Monday, Jan. 7 with the same stimulating entertainment, coffee and cookies.

For eight weeks, through Feb. 25, book lovers are invited to gather at 1 p.m. Mondays in the Sea Island Presbyterian Church on Lady’s Island for an opportunity to hear reviews of eight best sellers or books of local interest.

Committee chairwomen for the Books Sandwiched In program are Marilyn Harcharik and Heather Jarvis.

Meeting Night. Tonight's meeting is a Critique of photos with the assigned subject: Awakenings". Public is invited.
The winners of the Dale Westcott High School Nature Contest will also be awarded.
