What a great time! Great entertainment - good Lowcountry Supper, Great Talent Show - loved the Dancers! i don't care what the negative bloggers say at the Beaufort Gazette! how can you talk about talented dancers who work so hard?! that's another subject. Anyway, and loved the Beaufort Water festival Guide that Beaufort Today put out. All i can say is WOW! enjoy the Water festival! 2 more days.

Ok, what is going on? i've had Hargray for over 9 years, the bundled package with Cable, all movie channels, high speed internet and home phone service for about $120 per mth. started out $85 for all and is now $120.
since the conversion July 1, lost all the movie channels.... no notice, no letter....no email, no phone call and i have everything w/ hargray so it's not like they could not get in touch with me!!!!! they did send me a new channel line up. i'm like cool! more channels!

Did anyone go to the Sex in the City party - oops i mean movie. how much fun was that?

Seems like everywhere i go in Beaufort, people have an opinion. The letters to the Editors in the local papers are so boring -blah blah. Here the Today papers: Beaufort Today, Bluffton Today, etc. invite the readers to write in and say whatever they want.
So let's hear it! i'm trying to think of something to say....hmmmm... the missing couple in Hilton Head? the suicide....... Ok, back to Beaufort!! The developments in Beaufort? new business? the coffee shops!!!
anyone go to Kaleidscope? great films and from what I hear on the street, alot of fun.

Palmetto Crab - I didn't even realize they had ice hockey in charleston! Cool- sounds like a fun time! i used to date a hockey player and yes he had all his teeth! that boy loved to fight though......

saw the ad in Beaufort Today announcing that some of the downtown stores were opening later on Thursday - fantastic! hopefully that will continue and the locals will frequent the downtown stores more - Shop local!! there are some wonderful shops downtown. seems like before the only time i'd go downtown is when i had family or guests out of town visiting. They were like, Wow, you never come down here? it's wonderful! so let's not forget what a wonderful town we do have (that we probably take for granted!)

Hope everyone is out and about in Beaufort supporting the local businesses. No need to drive to Charleston, HHI or Savannah - We have it all here!!
Arby's - YAH!!! i used to drive to HHI just to get a Jamocha shakes and Arbys roast beef! and prob. will still plug it in to the GPS on road trips
TJ Maxx - new clothing, shoes, accessories arrive weekly!
Higher Ground - new bigger better location - anything you want for the Outdoors! kayaks, gear, cool outerwear, great selection of sunglasses - friendly staff (behind Outback)

It's so refreshing to read Beaufort Today - can't wait till the next issue! Scott Graber's "Bride" article is hilarious and the For the Birds is creativity at it's finest! The weekly interviews with the locals- local articles, the Lost and Found -Beaufort's Last Man - All fantastic!!
And i don't even have to wait for the next issue..the top stories of the day are on the website! Keep up the good work!
